accounting technician
The Côté Group is currently looking for an accounting technician for our company SSTA, located in Acton Vale.
This 1-year contract is to replace someone on maternity leave and will be effective from June 1, 2024, to July 2025.
Your schedule will be 40 hours per week, all over 4 ½ days. There is the possibility of partial remote work.
Under the supervision of the finance director, the accounting technician is responsible for managing finances and accounts.
The main tasks are to maintain accounting records, verify invoices and payments, prepare financial reports, audit accounts and analyze financial data.
Tasks
- Plan and organize the activities of the accounting department
- Responsible for customer accounts
- Responsible for supplier accounts
- Collection of customer accounts
- Prepare supplier payments
- Make bank deposits
- Maintain bookkeeping
- Management of the complete accounting cycle
- Bank reconciliation
- Government rebates
- Preparation of general ledger entries
- Monthly validation of financial statements
- Participate in the review mission with the auditors
- Maintain and improve internal controls
- Carry out order invoicing
- Plan internal activities
- Maintain employee files
